The canvas edge finishing is white, and is stretched over artist stretcher bars milled from the finest quality. Our canvas material is a finely textured artist-grade cotton canvas which consistently reproduces image details with outstanding clarity and detail. This print is made and shipped from Shirley Bales Fine Art in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Gift purchases are wrapped in brown kraft paper and include a cloth bow. Your new art will be mindfully made and packaged using ecofriendly or recycled materials in our ongoing efforts to support sustainability.  This item is made to order, and can take up to 6 days in production before it ships. Depending on the size you select, the image may be cropped accordingly. A landscape format is listed with the larger dimension first, a portrait format is listed with the smaller dimension first. Larger sizes are available by custom order.

About the Artist:

Shirley Bales, is a multi-generational painter. Shirley formally studied fine art under an accomplished forensic portrait artist and other notable illustrators in the 1990's. Shirley also attended workshops by acclaimed plein air painters, and exclusively painted outside for over 10 years to develop her acute color sensibility. Shirley attributes most of her technical knowledge to the Cennini Forum comprised of forerunners of the Classical Realism Movement. Shirley has participated in multiple group and solo shows winning multiple awards and accolades over the years. Her work resides in hundreds of private collections nationwide.
