My Process

My Process

In my process, I created a unique approach, exploring and delving deep into the endless ways I can express and communicate.

Each painting emerges as a reflection, from the beautiful to the turbulent and disordered, cohesion is achieved layer after layer, all completed in one session. With organic brushwork that yields inherently beautiful forms that flow and merge, I create a sense of dimension and unity. Every now and then, bending the rules, leading to exhilarating growth in new and exciting ways. I can't help but obsessively return to unresolved paintings. They pose a challenge, and I have to find the solution. These are often the paintings I love the most. Each step is revelatory, layer upon layer, they emerge becoming what they are meant to be.

The process has taught me to be patient, and to trust that even the most chaotic, seemingly unresolvable work, can transform into something meaningful and beautiful. There is a freedom in this process, a freedom that comes from a willingness to explore the unknown. It's a delicate balance, between control and release, between intention and serendipity. This is where the magic happens, where true art is born—not from a place of rigid perfection, but from an openness to imperfection and possibility.

I believe the more possibilities the better. Learning to simplify and clearly communicate is essential, as this is where you can delve into your unique brand of expression, but learning to let go is a place where wonderful discoveries are made. In my process, After the painting has dried, I carefully separate the layer from the support, revealing a natural duality. The top surface is bold and unforgiving, with assertive strokes that exude a sense of chaos. Beneath lies a world of beautiful, subtle, and sensitive details that couldn't have existed any other way. There is beauty in what you put underneath. In the subtle swirls of water and the shades blending into one another, hiding from the light, melding into one.

My problem isn't letting go, it's holding on. When arranging to pieces, many find it difficult to discard what they like, but I found it challenging to keep the best parts. I had to learn patience because without patience, I was certain to destroy. The goal is to find the balance. I had to acknowledge my successes and failures to evolve and grow, and It's only when I start to understand the nature of things that I realize I have to start over.

My art is a reflection of my journey, marked by countless starts, stops and failures, that have become stepping stones to growth. It’s a journey of constant evolution, of finding my voice and then losing it again, only to rediscover it in new and unexpected ways. In sharing my work, I share a piece of myself—my struggles, my triumphs, my endless quest for expression. Embracing the journey and letting go of the need for perfection. For me, art is a never-ending journey of growth, transformation, and expression. I am excited about the future and what it holds.
